CNAMES

We have the domain lightblue.io and haven't used it yet.

We should use it for:
* gitbook.io (3 books)
* openshift stuff (jenkins, sonar, demo deployment of lightblue)
* forums on nabble (this one and the user forum)

Before I make a request to set these up I thought getting some feedback on what we should use would be nice.  Here's my initial proposal, please let me know what you think and any alternatives.

OLD -> NEW

http://jewzaam.gitbooks.io/lightblue/ -> http://overview.docs.lightblue.io/
http://jewzaam.gitbooks.io/lightblue-user-guide/ -> http://user.docs.lightblue.io/
http://jewzaam.gitbooks.io/lightblue-developer-manual/ -> http://devel.docs.lightblue.io/
https://jenkins-lightblue.rhcloud.com -> https://jenkins.lightblue.io/
https://sonar-lightblue.rhcloud.com -> https://sonar.lightblue.io/
http://services-lightblue.rhcloud.com -> http://demo.lightblue.io/
http://lightblue-users.1011140.n3.nabble.com/ -> http://user.forum.lightblue.io/
http://lightblue-dev.1011138.n3.nabble.com/ -> http://devel.forum.lightblue.io/

Might be nicer to have some to level domains with a URI context but I don't know that it's possible.

Awesome =)  +1 for the changes

I know it is not the context of this thread but we also have an project on travis ( https://travis-ci.org/lightblue-platform/lightblue ) a IRC channel (on Freenode, join #lightblue and soon on sonar too =) (if someone was searching all the external references/links about  lightblue, I thought it worth to mention)

I personally like "dev" instead of "devel" for brevity's sake.

Also, not a big fan of subdomains: how about dropping "user" from domains?

So, how about (taking both points into consideration):

Not sure I want to have lightblue.io land on the overview book, but it's not a horrid notion.  Maybe do that for now and later host a proper web site if we need with links out to places?  and put overview somewhere else?

Make sense. Then the overview could be a context inside of the website using a proxy

All but http://dev.docs.lightblue.io/ resolve now, just waiting for DNS to replicate for that one.

And it's all done now correctly.. no more redirects!  Pretty neat.

Minor update lately.  lightblue.io now redirects to www.lightblue.io to make DNS happy because IP addresses change on the gitbook.io side apparently.

Nice, I think I got the issue you mention (sometimes the gitbook doesn't process my request). Good job
