RDMBS controller connections secure?

The current rdbms controller, does it support secure connections to the database?

It relies on JNDI (I thought we could also make it manage the connection pool by itself, but it would be a quite complex feature, not sure if we want that right now) , so if the container and the driver supports that, it will work fine. But probably some custom authentication (for example, oracle db have one that you can inform the user and password after the connection is open) it will not support (right now)
